Take Responsibility: Avoid Free Lunch Attitude

They say, "The best things in life are free."

Yes. Who doesn't want this? When I was just a student, my parents gave me a phone. You know how I'm thankful about it? So much! Because all of my classmates and schoolmates have their own cellular phones, and it feels great that I have one too. I can't afford to buy it so it was really a blessing. And yes, the free lunch is a wonderful gift from God.

But now, I believe that it's not His best gift for us.
What is better than free lunch? It is the capacity to earn and pay for your lunch.

When I was able to earn my own money, I already afford to buy my own cellular phone. And when I  bought a new phone, believe me it was a thousand times better! Because aside from the phone alone, I felt I grew. I felt more wiser, more skilled, more eager to learn and earn more.

Remember that the first and most important skill you'll ever need in becoming successful is to take personal responsibility.

If you are receiving your free lunch today (in any form or way), thank God about it. But for the sake of your growth (financial, personal growth), my mentor and I encourage you to graduate from your free lunch. Grow up!

Divide you money into three investment.
Invest 10% in your eternity. Invest in your home, in your spiritual life, in Heaven.
Invest 20% in your maturity. It is not about your house, your car, your gadgets. Plan for your retirement. You don't want to get old and depend on your sons and daughters. You want to grow old, and be generous as well.
Invest 70% in your family. Do not invest in things. The best investment in the world is love.
