How To Be Blessed With Money

Blessings come and go, we just don't recognize many of them. If you want to be blessed with money, then you must change first your attitude about money. Money is circulating every time. The money you need are always there, maybe you just lack some of the skills to earn it and retain it, but it's always there.

Just don't look for money, let money look for you. Be a money magnet. Then the blessings will come.

We Don't Plan to Fail, We Just Fail to Plan

Some people who are in their 60s regret many things in their lives, they want to be better parents, a greater husband or wife, they wished they could've been executives in their company. They wished they could've done things a little bit different than it used to be. They wished they could've saved enough money to cover their expenses. They wished that they're not depending on their children for their daily financial needs.

Retirement planning is one of the missed points of a career person. Many people just work and work, with little planning about their future. It should be accepted that our bodies are slowly deteriorating with time, that we will not be as strong decades later as we used to be now, that our physical activities will be very limited and we will require some medications to extend our lives.

We can have a better future if we just plan and stick to it. We don't want to depend on someone else for our daily living. We should have money to spend for our own, and if we have lots of money when we grow old, our children will really take care of us (absolutely!).

Retirement Planning as Early As Now

Many of us don't want to be dependent on our children when we get old. We should have money of our own to cover for own daily expenses. If we insist on getting money from our children, they will be having a harder time providing for their own kids. We don't want that to happen.

What is retirement planning? You can save starting now and watch your accumulated funds grow over time through different financial instruments. The earlier you start saving, the better. And also, assess your financial needs over time. Don't just get insurance just because you like it. Study its terms and be wise, research thoroughly if that's the one most appropriate for you.

Retirement here means you stop working just to meet your daily expenses.

Retirement is Not the Ultimate Goal

Retirement, when people think about it, they cringe.

Where will you get the money to spend for yourself? How will they pay for their medical expenses, to their vitamin supplements? Do they want their sons and daughters to provide for them when they get old?

There are many programs that prepare us for retirement. In the Philippines, we are prepared through PAGIBIG, GSIS, and SSS.

But what if, we can have all the money we want for retirement? What will you do? Will you spend it in more vacations?

Yes, our life doesn't end on retirement. We should continue to work. Working not for our daily expenses, but to make ourselves productive. Even in old age, we can contribute more, and who knows, our greatest work and legacy lies just beyond our career "retirement."
